E-Government & the Digital Divide
Tony Blair has said that the he is backing "IT to support business tranformation of government itself so that we can provide better, more efficient, public services." (source: e-government Unit).
In 2004, the Cabinet office report stated that the UK Government hopes to have saved £1.3 thousand million within three years by migrating its services into an online form.
As you can see from the chart above, the information given by the website shows that the UK Government has decided to go ahead with online services, apart from a few, all of the areas ive investigated have been done by most of the different websites.
